Picture me smiling from ear to ear.  Yes, that is the Eiffel Tower just outside the windows, which twinkles on the hour.  It’s certainly a constant reminder that you’re in Paris each and every time you glance out a window.

I love sitting on the balcony early in the morning with a fresh hot cup of coffee.  I can’t believe I am sitting only a half  block from the river Seine.

I love to look at the boats moving up and down carrying people sightseeing.  I believe they offer lunch and dinner cruises as well as The Bateaux Mouche.  I like taking the one hour cruise on the river.

Last year my husband & I bought a bottle of wine grabbed two plastic cups and took the cruise as you can see in the photo.

I never drank, anything, ever.  Last year my doctor mentioned during my physical before we came here, that I should definitely try to drink a little red wine everyday.  It would be good for me he said.

I tried, gosh I tried.  I just couldn’t seem to like it.  A few sips and I was done.  This year, I’m trying harder and have been making it a daily habit now with lunch or dinner.  I’m getting better at it.  The wine is different here, it seems lighter or something.  I still can’t drink more than about an inch, but I’m determined to follow my doctor’s orders.  I am getting better at this.

When you are getting on the boat they take your picture which is then offered to you when you get off.  We bought this one last year, because well, we wanted to maybe document somehow how happy we were and are.  We enjoy everyday together.

Oh, I forgot to say that I found my gloves yesterday, the cashmere Saks Fifth Avenue gloves, well they were mixed in with my socks!
